We are the Barrionuevo Torres family, specifically three brothers: Alberto, Luis, and Miguel Ángel. We are the fourth generation of olive growers and, since 2021, the first to market our own products. A young but dynamic company, we have been linked to the world of olive oil since before 1930, when our maternal grandfather, Mr. Luis Torres Morente, opened a small oil mill in Porcuna, Jaén. Our agricultural strategy is based on being a sustainable production model in rural areas, creating wealth and helping to establish population in our town. The name of our company comes from a peculiar word used by the inhabitants of our town. “Queo” means parsimony and tranquility. These are our olive groves, a haven of peace in the Jaén countryside capable of producing the finest olives to create the finest product of our land: EVOO.
